About Landscapes is a place where we, Kate, Mayra and Frederic, can share our observations. It is in a way a spin off of our project “Landscapes,” found at www.about-landscapes.nl. This website is a collaborative project intended to challenge boundaries, fusing a diverse range of elements from distinctive disciplines into a non-linear, theoretical environment. The site takes advantage of the opportunity provided by the Internet to incorporate interactivity, texts, and images to develop a proposal that explores how different theoretical perspectives might be seen through the frame of mutating landscapes.
This blog will keep our explorations going. Each of us is currently on the move. For the next 6 months I will be in India. Mayra is returning to Puerto Rico for the summer, and Kate is criss crossing over the globe. That should give us plenty material to work with, I guess. And this will be the place to share these new landscapes with each other.
